đź“° In the news
More destinations within reach: Breeze Airways will add Atlantic City International service with new nonstop routes. Charleston and Raleigh start in May, and Tampa flights start July 1 with fares from $79 one way — get all the details.
Shifts in local leadership: Atlantic City police celebrated five promotions in a press conference, including new lieutenants Joshua Schwenger and John Waddell. The PBA also named Albert Floriani its new president — see the full list.
Third location joins neighborhood: Ocean City’s Dead End Bakehouse opened a Somers Point shop on Feb. 21 at 746 Shore Road. The family-run bakery brings bagels, breads, and coffee to a more year-round market — learn more about the opening.
Nothing prepares you for a pet emergency: I learned that the hard way after charging $10k to a credit card for life-saving surgery on my cat, Miss Stache. As soon as we got home, I signed up for Spot. It’s super affordable – and reimburses up to 90% of the bill.
Highlights this week:
|
🫶 We got your back
Legendary sub fix: Whether you say sub or hoagie, White House Subs still nails fresh-baked bread and stacked fillings locals swear by. Options include an Italian, cheesesteak, or a “half” that feeds two. Perfect for weeknights, beach days, or any no-cook moment when life’s busy.
Quick waterfront reset: When your brain needs a midweek breather, Oscar E. McClinton Jr. Waterfront Park delivers an easy, no-fuss escape for a quick stroll, a sunrise stretch, or a quiet sit-and-stare-at-the-water moment. Simple, close, and actually useful calm you’ll return to.
Retro toy treasure hunt: Equal parts shop and museum, Farpoint Toys & Collectibles is a rabbit hole of vintage action figures, comics, and games where an afternoon disappears fast. Attic stashes finally find purpose, and visitors leave with a quick jolt of joy, no time machine required.
Why your last diet didn’t work: Sustained weight loss is nearly impossible with diet alone. Your body literally fights back by making you hungrier the moment you start restricting calories. That’s why more doctors are recommending GLP-1s. The best part? Getting them has never been easier. We compared three programs to help you find the right fit. See which ones stood out →
Your data is for sale right now: There are over 400 websites selling your info to marketers, political campaigns, and scammers. They’ve got your phone number, home address, relatives’ names… you name it. That’s how robocallers seem to know everything about you before you pick up. You can remove your info one site at a time, or pay a service to do it for you. Here’s what we recommend →

Are you quietly overpaying for car insurance? đźš—
Premiums have been climbing across New Jersey but most folks won’t notice until they’re hit with a higher bill when it’s time to renew.
That’s exactly what happened to me. I had the same policy for half a decade. Autopay was on, it was out of sight and out of mind. Turns out I was blindly paying way more than everyone else I knew.
If you haven’t checked in a while, you’re probably overpaying too – here’s the comparison tool I used.
This house is wild
This 3-bed, 2.5-bath in Atlantic City’s Inlet and Gardner’s Basin channels coastal energy and everyday ease. Gleaming hardwoods flow through a spacious layout with generous closets. A garage and private parking are rare perks here. Minutes to the beach, boardwalk, dining, and casinos, it pairs lifestyle with flexibility for full-time, getaway, or investment.
