Family Yoga Fun & Picnic
At Soldier's Creek Park, families and community members gather for an afternoon focused on yoga, play, and connection. The experience begins with two simultaneous sessions. Adults move through an all levels outdoor flow with Liz that invites mindful breathing and the simple pleasure of practicing in nature. Children dive into Kids Yoga Club with Natalie and Su, a lively blend of movement, mindfulness, games, stories, and creative activities that encourages connection with themselves and with others. After the classes, everyone reunites for a community picnic. Food is provided by MY YOGA Community Center. Bring a blanket and something you like to drink, then enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with the MYCC community, with time for easy conversation and time together outside the studio. All experience levels are welcome. Participants are encouraged to bring a yoga mat, sun protection, and a sense of adventure.
Soldier Creek ParkUnseen Realms 2026 - $25
At Strega Shop, this class opens a doorway to hidden realms through a Biblical and Ancient Near Eastern lens. Across a series of sessions, participants explore ancient writings, the structure of occult traditions, hermetic principles, kabbalah and sacred geometry, demonology, and practices for spiritual defense. The experience also considers divination, including how tarot is discussed in relation to the Bible, and engages with perspectives on the supernatural associated with Michael Heiser. It welcomes seekers of every background and requires no prior experience. Instruction is led by Will Spina. Cost is $25.

Herpetologist Tom Miscione leads an educational program focused on appreciating reptiles as vital parts of the local ecosystem. With many live specimens on hand, the session offers close-up views of a wide range of snakes and lizards while sharing guidance that replaces fear with informed understanding. The photo features a mountain king snake, a harmless species that closely resembles the venomous coral snake, highlighting how look-alike patterns can cause confusion.
