Prohibition Lounge at 1933 Event CenterHeart Soul Confidence-Based Horsemanship™ Animal Communication & Energy Awareness Workshop
For anyone who senses their animals have more to share and wants to learn how to truly hear them, this two-day, heart-centered workshop focuses on animal communication and Reiki at HeartSoul Ranch in Cottonwood, California. It welcomes both beginners and those already attuned to subtle cues, offering guidance on quieting the mind, strengthening awareness, and building trust in what you feel and sense. Participants explore the fundamentals of animal communication, how animals convey information through emotions, images, sensations, and feelings, and how nervous system awareness supports a grounded presence. The experience includes Reiki Level 1 training with an emphasis on energetic awareness, hands-on practice with animals, and practical ways to deepen connection, trust, and understanding with the animals in your life. Upon completion, participants receive a Reiki Level 1 Practitioner Certification. A core takeaway is that this work is not about performing or becoming someone different. It is about remembering how to listen. Animals are always communicating through behavior, emotion, energy, body language, and presence, and what may look like resistance or anxiety is often a message waiting to be understood. The setting is designed to be safe, welcoming, experiential, and supportive. No prior experience is required. Space is intentionally limited to keep the experience personal and connected. Cancellation policy: because space is limited and preparation begins well in advance, all registrations are nonrefundable. If attendance becomes impossible, a registration may be transferred to another person with prior approval. In the case of an emergency or unforeseen circumstance, organizers aim to work with participants in a supportive and fair way. If the workshop is canceled or rescheduled by HeartSoul Ranch, participants may choose a full refund or credit toward a future event.

PEPPER With CYDEWAYS
Pepper brings to the stage a Hawaii-born mix of reggae, dub, island pulse, alternative rock, and punk energy that the trio has refined since their first jams on the Big Island. Vocalist and guitarist Kaleo Wassman, vocalist and bassist Bret Bollinger, and drummer Yesod Williams have carried that sound from their early days to a No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Reggae Albums chart with the 2019 release Local Motion, and to a wide circle of collaborators. As co-founders of LAW Records, they have supported the reggae community through reissues from icons like Steel Pulse and Jimmy Cliff and releases for over twenty other artists, while crisscrossing North America with The Wailers, 311, Pennywise, and Snoop Dogg. Their latest EP, Makai, leans even deeper into those roots. The title takes a Hawaiian word for the direction of the sea, and its six tracks reflect the band’s island home. Get Me Ready, co-written with Tim Armstrong of Rancid and Kevin Bivona of The Interrupters, opens with radiant momentum, while Sweet Leef tips its hat to herbal relief. Longtime collaborator Ben Brough crafted artwork that salutes ocean culture. Community is woven through the music, from Johnny Cosmic’s production on Stay High to Edley Shine’s appearance on Dancing on the Moon, produced by David Foral of Dirty Heads, and Iration’s contribution to Tides. With new music and creative ventures always on the horizon, Pepper continues to honor its Hawaiian roots while building connections across genres.
