A few common questions
Who reviews submissions?
A BaseLocal editor in your location. We approve most submissions; we turn down anything that doesn't fit the audience. If your event is rejected, you get a full refund.
How does pricing across locations work?
Per event, per location, per day. A three-day market in Tacoma and Olympia is six units — $60 for directory only, or $150 for directory + newsletter. The price stays linear.
Can I edit the event after I submit?
Yes — minor edits to time, copy, or image any time before the run starts. Date and location changes go through the editor.
Can I cancel?
Cancel up to 48 hours before a day's run for a full refund of that day. Inside the 48-hour window, the day is locked in.
How long does review take?
Most submissions are approved within 24 hours. We'll email you when your event is live.
