🎸 The Pure Zeppelin Experience @ Boca Black Box Center for the Arts | Friday (11/28) at 8:00pm – This tribute nails Zeppelin’s power, mystery, and that Hammer of the Gods thump, with deep cuts and the sing-alongs you actually remember. It’s the full-body, chest-rattling concert experience, minus arena prices, parking nightmares, and pretending you still like warm domestic beer.
💀 Unlimited Devotion: Celebrating The Grateful Dead @ Crazy Uncle Mikes | Friday (11/28) at 8:30pm – Thanksgiving weekend at Crazy Uncle Mike’s means the annual two-set Dead-inspired throwdown from Unlimited Devotion, beer, and improvisation that makes you forget you promised leftovers to the neighbors. Reserve a seat or float GA, wear comfy shoes, and embrace the groove, Boca-style.
This weekend
🛍️ Shop Small Downtown Delray Beach| Saturday (11/29) at 9:00am – Nothing beats shopping small in Downtown Delray, where 96% of businesses are our neighbors. Skip the big-box guilt trip, make a day of boutiques, salons, galleries, and good meals, then grab the free Shop Small Holiday Pass, check in, and turn stops into gift cards.
🎤 Her Name Is Barbra, A Tribute Show @ Pompano Beach Cultural Center | Saturday (11/29) at 7:30pm – Grab a cocktail and settle in for a Streisand tribute that actually earns the sequins. Joy Altman channels Barbra’s magic with spot-on vocals, humor, and Broadway polish, from Funny Girl to A Star Is Born, The Way We Were, and Evergreen. Nostalgia, talent, no cheese.
🕹️ RC Jump/Bash/Show/Swap Meet! @ West Delray Park | Sunday (11/30) at 9:00am – West Delray Park is turning into a demolition derby, minus the insurance claims. RC folks are jumping, bashing, showing off, and swapping parts, with Megalodon and Colossus on display, so bring extra ramps, your inner kid, and respect the oval track, keep the asphalt off-limits.
🎺 Hot Brass @ Pompano Beach Cultural Center | Sunday (11/30) at 2:00pm – This tribute throws Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire into one glorious, horn-soaked night at the Pompano Cultural Center. Led by sax ace Debbie Pierce with four lead vocalists, expect September, 25 or 6 to 4, and a rhythm section tighter than your HOA board.
🇯🇲 Bob Marley Tribute by Yvad & The Legal Roots @ Arts Garage | Sunday (11/30) at 7:00pm – Craving some real reggae, not the beach-bar playlist version? Yvad, former lead singer of The Wailers, leads a Bob Marley tribute with the hits you know, plus originals. Expect No Woman No Cry, Three Little Birds, Redemption Song, grooves, and tourist-trap nonsense nowhere in sight.
Next week
✨ Holiday Fantasy of Lights Drive thru @ Tradewinds Park | Monday (12/1) at 6:00pm – Holiday lights are taking over the route, and you can cruise three miles of glowing displays without leaving the heated seats. Pay per carload, pack the kids, Fido, a thermos, and snacks, then argue over the playlist while making memories, not mall parking lot chaos.
🎗️ Luncheon for a Cure: Floral Fête @ Broken Sound Club | Tuesday (12/2) at 11:00am – Nothing beats a long lunch where you can channel French countryside chic, sip something bubbly, and actually do some good. On Giving Tuesday, this floral fête raises funds for Crohn’s and colitis research, so bring muted tones, generous hearts, and your well-honed small talk.
🎄 100ft Tree Lighting @ Old School Square | Tuesday (12/2) at 6:00pm – Bundle up as our tallest evergreen gets its annual glow on, a 100-foot tree lighting that turns even the grumpiest local into a softie. Location is still a mystery, so follow the twinkle, bring patience, and pretend parking is a festive scavenger hunt.
