Junior Makers Arts & Crafts Class- Ages 7-12

Creative kids ages 7 to 12 can dive into a hands-on arts and crafts class made for makers who love to build, invent, and create. Small groups of about 10 to 12 students meet once a week, with a four-week series that keeps things fresh so no two sessions feel the same. Young artists experiment with a wide range of materials, including air dry clay for sculpting, acrylic and watercolor paints, mixed media for collage and assemblage, paper projects, polymer clay for wearable pieces and tiny keepsakes, yarn and string art, markers, pastels, and more. Participants bring home both display-worthy artwork and practical items they can use, such as custom organizers, jewelry, decorated journals, wall art, keychains, hand painted pots, or personalized gifts. Each week offers a guided project with plenty of room to put an individual spin on the idea. With personal attention in an intimate setting, makers steadily build skills, confidence, and creativity. Flexible enrollment is available. Choose a one-time purchase that covers four weekly classes, or a monthly subscription with one class per week that bills automatically until cancelled. A Step Up friendly invoice is available upon request. For questions, contact becreativetampa@gmail.com.

Holistic Nutritional Blood Analysis

At Nutrition Smart in Wesley Chapel, Angie Provenzano presents a holistic approach to nutritional blood analysis that uses a quick finger stick to view a single drop of blood in its natural state under a microscope. The method is reported to have 97 percent accuracy compared with a complete blood count and can display more than 42 observable anomalies. Results often highlight markers linked to digestion, liver strain, inflammation, and hormone balance. A complementary dry layer oxidative test uses six drops that are allowed to dry, with the resulting patterns offering clues to issues that may be acute or long standing while helping clarify how natural health strategies might support personal wellness goals. In use for more than 70 years, this process is said to show indications related to degenerative concerns, colon function, mineral levels, leaky gut and heavy metals, lymphatic congestion, kidney and adrenal stress, and sensitivities to foods and environmental factors. Service options include a 30 minute live blood cell session for $60, a 15 minute blood cell type session for $25, and a combined 60 minute live and dry blood cell session priced at $109, a $16 savings off the regular $125 rate. Appointments are available on selected days.

At Lutz Family Church, this teen summer art camp offers a relaxed, social studio vibe for tweens and teens who enjoy crafting with style and independence. Designed for ages 12 and up, the week centers on unplugged creativity with modern, maker-focused projects. Participants will work on a watercolor project with a camp shirt, personalize an embroidered tote bag, and create a chunky knit blanket. Throughout the experience, campers develop STEAM-oriented creative skills and build confidence through hands-on making without screens. Participants must be at least 12 years old to register. Bringing a snack and a drink for break times is encouraged.
