Designed for beginners, this sports session at Nova Southeastern University introduces kids to basketball, soccer, and volleyball with guidance from Kristian and Tristan Watson. Participants build skills and confidence while practicing teamwork and making new friends in a supportive setting. Open to ages 6 to 12. Water is provided. The fee is $50 per session. Kick off the school year with a fun green screen photo at the South Regional/Broward College Library’s Creation Station. Before you take your picture, guests will complete a Broward County Library model release form. You can take up to three photos, and staff will collect your information. Afterward, you’ll receive your photos with a selected background by email within 1 to 3 business days. Guests are encouraged to pre-register so staff can plan and have your email and background choice ready. You can choose from four themed backgrounds, or request a blank background photo for at-home fun.

Celebrate the American Revolution exhibition with an opening reception at the library. This augmented traveling experience uses interactive technology to bring key moments of the Revolution to life for visitors of all ages. During the reception, you can get a first look at the exhibit and explore the history in an immersive, hands-on way.

A weekly local Pokémon gathering at MBM features a $10 entry fee. Participants receive a pair of price packs with entry, and all entry fees are returned to the player pool as prizing.
