This annual Mustang and classic Ford showcase fills the Hy-Vee parking lot with entries across forty-nine judged classes. Participants may choose a judged show entry, display-only parking, the Pony Corral, or a daily driver category. Trophies and plaques are awarded by class, door prizes are available, and special recognition includes Best of Show selected by participants along with awards for standout interior, paint, and engine compartment. Preregistration is $15 per car. Day-of registration is $20. Display-only entries are $10 per car, and the Pony Corral is $15 per car. The 8th Annual Des Moines County Humane Society Car Show features a full day of classic and custom rides in support of local animals. Vehicle and motorcycle registration is $20, and car registrants can purchase a show shirt for $10. Enjoy a Show and Shine display, browse event merchandise, and take part in a 50/50 raffle. Food will be available, along with a silent auction and door prizes. Adoptable dogs will be present, and awards will be given to the Top 15. All proceeds benefit the pets at the Des Moines County Humane Society.
