Mystic CafeGin Blossoms
Gin Blossoms bring the melodic, radio-shaping sound that broke through with New Miserable Experience. Fueled by the gold-certified hit “Hey Jealousy,” that album sold more than four million copies and introduced enduring favorites like “Allison Road” and “Until I Fall Away,” a legacy Tempe recognized by dedicating a stretch of 8th Street as “Allison Road Avenue” for the record’s 30th anniversary. The momentum continued with the platinum-selling Congratulations I’m Sorry, featuring the Top 10 single “Follow You Down” and the GRAMMY nominated “As Long as It Matters.” Robin Wilson, Jesse Valenzuela, Bill Leen, and Scotty Johnson keep their bright guitars and big hooks at the forefront while continuing to evolve. Their latest release, Mixed Reality, produced by Don Dixon and engineered by Mitch Easter, showcases 15 new songs filled with ringing melodies, sharp wit, and heart. Inducted into the Arizona Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame in 2017, the band remains a road-tested favorite, having toured with Collective Soul, Barenaked Ladies, and Hootie & The Blowfish, and reuniting with Blues Traveler for this year’s tour after a high-energy mashup on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last summer.
