This weekly storytime with PBS Kansas Kids offers a recurring session centered on sharing stories with children.

Start working toward a Kansas driver’s license with an in-person driver education class from ICT North Star Driving Academy. The program begins with an 8-hour classroom session on the scheduled day, followed by 6 to 7 hours of behind-the-wheel training in a vehicle provided by the academy. To advance from classroom to driving, students must pass a 30-question written test that results in a paper instruction permit. After completing the driving hours, a comprehensive road exam is required to earn a Certificate of Completion that can be presented at the DMV when eligible for a Kansas license. Enrollment requires a $150 non-refundable deposit and completed paperwork, which must be submitted in person before the class date. Two forms of identification are needed, with a Social Security card and birth certificate preferred. Participants must be at least 14 years old. A parent or guardian must attend the enrollment appointment for students under 16 and is encouraged to attend for those under 18. To schedule an enrollment appointment, call 316-369-8667.
