Trust Your Experience ~ A 4-Week Journey into Safety, Awareness & Inner Connection.

This four-week series supports a return to body-based knowing and trust in your own experience. Many people get stuck in their heads and override what they feel, which can lead to disconnection and an uneasy nervous system. Here, a gentler path is offered. Through sound, quiet, and simple guided practices, participants are invited to reconnect with their bodies without pressure to perform or to figure anything out. The work is cumulative. With repetition, the nervous system starts to recognize safety, self-awareness grows, and trust has space to take root as the body settles into its natural rhythms. The arc of the series moves from settling to integration. In the first week the focus is on downshifting and establishing a feeling of safety for both the group and each person, using guided meditation supported by crystal singing bowls. The second week turns toward noticing subtle sensations and staying present in the body while letting thoughts move to the background, again with guidance and sound to help direct attention. The third week emphasizes the validity of personal experience and invites more confidence, offering less instruction and deeper immersion in the resonance of the bowls. The final week centers on sustainability and weaving the practice into daily life, with minimal guidance and more space to rest in your own stillness so the learning can anchor. The aim is to feel more at ease in your body, grow confidence in what you sense, and rely less on overthinking. It is not about perfecting a method, it is about honoring the value of what you already notice. This series welcomes both beginners and those with an ongoing practice. Sessions are led by Renee, a sound and energy practitioner focused on nervous system regulation through sound and stillness. She cultivates steady, supportive spaces without expectation, trusting the body’s innate capacity for rest and restoration. A Usui Reiki Master with training in sound facilitation and meditation, she blends structure with intuition to guide accessible, embodied practice for newcomers and experienced practitioners alike.

W4 Country Idol

W4 Country Idol returns with a qualifying night that gives singers a chance to earn a place in the finale at Revel Run in Chelsea. The season champion already has a major first performance on the books. Each contestant performs one karaoke-style song with just a microphone, and it does not have to be country. Pick the song that best showcases your voice, personality, and ability to engage the room. Judges score across four areas that matter on stage: vocal ability, stage presence, entertainment value, and crowd participation. The top two performers from this qualifier move on to the finale at Revel Run and receive a $100 Lewis Jewelers gift card. If you do not advance, you can return and try again. After eight qualifying nights, four additional Wild Card finalists are randomly selected from those who did not automatically qualify, and every attempt adds another Wild Card entry. A total of twenty finalists will compete at Revel Run for the W4 Country Idol title. The grand prize winner receives $2,500 courtesy of Champion Cueter Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, along with the opportunity to perform the winning song live at The Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre before Justin Moore.

Between Us: Women’s Support Group

Between Us offers a monthly support circle for women seeking a caring, trustworthy place to show up with sincerity for themselves and one another. Each gathering focuses on a common challenge many carry quietly. It is not about having answers or fixing anyone. It is about listening, being seen, and remembering that no one is meant to carry life alone. Share when it feels right or simply listen. Both choices are welcomed and valued. The circle is gently facilitated in a confidential setting. Sharing is always optional, and the space is guided by no advice, no fixing, and no comparisons, with respect, presence, and care at the center. It is open to women across all stages of life, including mothers and non-mothers, those who are partnered or single, those in seasons of healing and those still finding their way. What unites participants is not circumstance, but a shared commitment to honesty and compassion. Throughout 2026, monthly topics include the mental load of motherhood, body image and self worth, friendship changes and outgrowing people, anxiety, overthinking and self-criticism, burnout and emotional exhaustion, identity shifts, perfectionism and the pressure to have everything together, and year-end reflection, regret, and self-compassion. This gathering is offered on a sliding scale to support accessibility while honoring the setting.

Ulekstore's Win a Pinburgh Ticket Pinball Tournament!

Take part in a Fair Strike pinball tournament capped at 64 players, with spots filled as entries come in until capacity is reached. Competitors will play a variable format of 5 to 10 strikes, set at the start based on attendance to target 100 percent TGP and maximize IFPA WPPRs. In each game, first place receives zero strikes, second and third each receive one, and last place receives two. The final player remaining will be named Grand Champion. Prizes include a chance to secure a Pinburgh tournament ticket valued at $350, plus items such as banners, translites, and playfields from a variety of pinball manufacturers, along with other giveaways. Random door prizes will be awarded after the round that first produces eliminations, with names selected using Wheel of Names and winners choosing from the prizes still available. The Pinburgh entry is non transferable, and if the winner already holds a ticket, Pinburgh will refund the $350 value. Entry is $35 plus coin drop. Of that, $1 goes to IFPA, $10 funds a side prize pool, and $24 supports prizes, awards or trophies, refreshments, and related costs. The side pool pays out 40 percent to first place, 30 percent to second, 20 percent to third, and 10 percent to fourth. With a full field contributing $10 each, that pool would be $640, which would yield example payouts of $256, $192, $128, and $64. Trust Your Experience ~ A 4-Week Journey into Safety, Awareness & Inner Connection.

This four-week series invites participants to reconnect with the body and rebuild trust in inner signals. Many people learn to override what they feel and rely on constant thinking, which can leave the nervous system unsettled. This program offers a gentler path through sound, quiet, and guided awareness so you can ease back into embodied experience without pressure or the need to figure anything out. Each session builds on the last, and with repetition, a sense of safety can grow, self-awareness can deepen, and confidence in personal experience can return. The first week focuses on settling the nervous system and releasing expectations through guided meditation supported by crystal singing bowls, setting a foundation of safety both in the space and within the body. The second week turns to noticing subtle sensations and staying present while distinguishing feeling from thought, using meditation and sound to cultivate awareness without judgment or overanalysis. In the third week, guidance is lighter and immersion in the bowls’ tones increases, affirming that what you notice is valid and strengthening trust in your own experience. The final week emphasizes sustainability and everyday integration, offering minimal instruction and more room for stillness so you can ground what you have practiced and rely on it beyond the series. The intention is to help you feel more sure of what you sense, more at ease in your body, and less dependent on thinking your way through every moment. It is not about perfecting a meditation technique. It centers on realizing that your experience is already enough, whether you are new to this work or have a current practice. Renee leads the series as a sound and energy practitioner whose work focuses on nervous system regulation, sound, and stillness. She creates a steady, supportive environment without expectations, trusting the body’s capacity for rest and repair. As a Usui Reiki Master with training in sound facilitation and meditation practices, she blends structure and intuition to help shift attention from constant mental activity toward a more present, regulated state. Her approach is accessible to beginners and experienced practitioners alike, offering a quieter, embodied way to deepen self-awareness.

Blockhouse Valley delivers a Rust Belt Americana sound driven by acoustic instruments and plenty of energy. Their set blends original songs with unexpected twists on familiar favorites, and the instrumentation may call to mind folk and bluegrass while they launch into covers of artists like Michael Jackson and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Those influences also shape their own work, showcased on their self-titled debut EP. Plan an early or late meal with friends, catch up with coworkers after a long week, or simply relax by the river. The Social District is active, so you can pick up an adult beverage or dinner from participating businesses and enjoy a leisurely walk to Altrusa Park. Blankets and chairs are welcome.
