Boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 15 are welcome to participate in Drive, Chip and Putt. Participants are divided into four age groups: 7-9, 10-11, 12-13, and 14-15. Everyone will compete in three skills, drive, chip, and putt. Participants will attempt three shots per skill, for a total of nine shots. Points are accumulated per shot in all three skills. The champion in each individual skill competition will be determined by the participant with the most points accumulated in that particular skill. The overall champion in each age category will be determined by the participant with the most points accumulated between all three skills.

Now in its third year, this family friendly RC crawling festival welcomes all ages and skill levels for driving, competition, and campfire camaraderie. Highlights include night crawling on illuminated courses, a main competition featuring Class 1, Class 2, and Class 3 alongside run-what-you-brung entries, and the debut of a Danchee Ridge Rock class. A dedicated mini course is set up for 1/18 to 1/24 scale rigs. Beyond the course, there will be a relaxed scene with a BBQ, campfire gatherings, raffles, giveaways, and room for camper trailers. A portable toilet will be available on site. Dogs are not allowed on the course, though they are fine in the campground. Participants are welcome to bring a table for a small swap meet. The event expands this year with added LED lighting to make after-dark crawling easier and an ever-growing parking lot course. Each camp is encouraged to build a small obstacle for the night runs so everyone can take part, even those who prefer not to walk the rocks after dark. Orphan Girl Theatre hosts an evening of stand up headlined by Olympia, Washington comedian Lynette Manning, returning to Butte for a full set of her sharp, personal comedy. A fixture in the Northwest scene, she has worked stages across the country and has shared bills with Sam Miller, Kyle Kinane, Godfrey, Nate Jackson, Adam Ray, Bret Ernst, and Ben Bailey. Her credits include a selection at Austin’s Moon Tower Comedy Festival and a semifinal run in the 2024 Seattle International Comedy Competition. Manning’s style blends candid life stories with confident, self aware delivery, turning vulnerabilities into laughs and creating a feeling of being in the moment together. Offstage she balances office life and motherhood, which adds to the relatable perspective in her act. In keeping with Uptown Comedy presentations at this venue, the show serves as a fundraiser for children’s programs. Seating is limited, and she often sells out rooms.
