Summer at Sesame Place Philadelphia brings a full splash park experience with water play zones for every age. Cool off at Bert & Ernie’s Splashy Shores, float along Big Bird’s Rambling River, explore The Count’s Splash Castle, and relax at Big Bird’s Beach. Beyond the water, families can hop on Oscar’s Wacky Taxi Roller Coaster, soar with Elmo’s Flyin’ Fish, ride the Sunny Day Carousel, and explore the 123 Playground. Throughout the season, meet and take photos with favorite Sesame Street friends, enjoy character dining and live shows, and catch the Sesame Street Party Parade. Special happenings span the season, including fan fests, patriotic celebrations, Tango’s gotcha day activities, Christmas in July cheer, birthday festivities, and a back-to-school bash.

A welcoming support group at Capital Health Medical Center – Hopewell for parents with babies younger than one year. Topics include caring for infants, feeding, sleep, postpartum recovery, and related concerns. Babies are invited to come along, and partners or other support people are welcome. The group is led by a certified childbirth educator who is also a postpartum doula from Capital Health’s Childbirth Education team. Enjoy outdoor concerts with live music each Friday night and special themed Saturday evenings with food, beverages, and fresh-air fun for all ages. Buying tickets online offers savings. Friday admission is $10 online or $15 at the gate. Saturday themes include Summerween, Christmas in July, and 90's Night, priced at $12 online or $17 at the gate. Fireworks nights and the Eras Tribute Night are $20 online or $25 at the gate. A Summer Season Pass is available for $80 and provides unlimited entry for the entire season.

Due to forecasted weather, Bordentown Township’s annual fishing derby has been rescheduled. This free event at Northern Community Park features relaxed fishing, a friendly competitive spirit, and family fun. A brief registration period and short presentation will precede the derby. Trophies will be presented to anglers 12 and under who catch the biggest fish. No experience is required, just bring a fishing pole and a bit of luck.
