Seedlings to Stewards
Seedlings to Stewards is a children’s gardening club that invites kids to explore the garden, get their hands dirty, and grow food they planted. This interactive, drop-in style experience is designed to build confidence and deepen connections with nature through practical, outdoor learning. Meetings take place at the Roger Johnson Nature Center. No registration is required, and participants are welcome to spend time in the garden between meetings when it fits their schedule.

Experience a reflective program honoring Pat Leimbach, Brownhelm’s matriarch, author, farm wife, and mother, presented through a first-person reenactment. The event features talks, archival video, and readings from her newspaper articles, along with excerpts from her three books.
Karaoke Wednesdays
The Old Dutch Tavern hosts karaoke with DJ MooShoo for experienced singers and those simply looking for fun. Attendees can take the microphone and be part of the entertainment.
Old Dutch Tavern🎉 Vermilion Athletic Boosters Booster Bingo 🎉
VHS Commons will be buzzing with Bingo as the community rallies around Sailor Athletics and Vermilion student-athletes. Friends and families are welcome for an energetic evening filled with games, prizes, and plenty of school spirit. Admission is $20 per person and participants must be 18 or older. Entry covers Bingo play with opportunities to win, while extra tickets and pull tabs will be available to purchase. The concession stand will be open with snacks and refreshments. Booster Club members receive one free card with a paid entry. Half of the proceeds from the night will be directed to the athletic team helping run the event, and every dollar raised strengthens programs, opportunities, and resources for Vermilion athletes across all sports.
