The best health & wellness spots in Spearfish

“If you want your vinyasa with a side of science, Black Hills Hot Room runs all classes under infrared heat that warms you, not the air, for a clean, sweat-it-out glow. Expect hot yoga, strength sessions, even Buti yoga... the northern Black Hills' first infrared studio.”

“Spearfish Rec & Aquatics Center keeps your routine fresh with a solid weight and cardio setup, a monthly class schedule with pre-registration, plus youth programs and adult leagues that make showing up feel social. When it’s hot, the waterpark’s slides, lazy river, and swim lessons turn recovery days into family time.”

“Black Hills Salt Cave pairs a tranquil Himalayan salt cave, the first in the Black Hills, with real-deal spa perks like massages, facials, and infrared saunas. When you need to reset between errands and weather swings, this spot delivers quiet, clean-breathing vibes and skin that forgives your week.”

“Deadwood Recreation Center is the city-run spot that keeps things welcoming while offering diversified fitness, recreation, social, and educational options, from classes to endurance clubs. If you want a reliable place to move, connect, and keep Black Hills winters from winning, this is it.”

“Deadwood Day Spa is a package studio pairing massage with spa amenities for a real mind, body, soul reset. Plan at least two hours to unwind, and if you come as a couple the massages are in separate rooms while the amenities are shared, which honestly keeps the zen intact.”
