Stained Glass

Discover stained glass at ArtLink Clarksville with hands-on workshops tailored to your experience level. If you are brand new or returning after a long break, start with an introductory session that covers tool use and practice, then complete a two-piece project to take home. If you have already finished the intro, the next step helps you build confidence by reviewing the tools and creating a three-piece design. Those who have completed both earlier sessions and feel ready for a challenge can choose the advanced option, which focuses on producing a five to six piece work without extra practice or tool instruction, so comfort with the tools is important. Participants must be 16 or older, and a signed waiver is required before taking part. After you register and pay, your name will be added to the list and no physical ticket will be issued.

Explore stained glass at ArtLink Clarksville with a hands-on workshop designed for different experience levels. Newcomers or those returning after a long break can start in the First-Timer session, where the basics are covered, tools are introduced, and practice leads to creating a two-piece design to take home. Participants who have completed that session and want to build on their skills can choose the Beginner option, which revisits tools and techniques while guiding you through a three-piece project. Those who have finished both earlier levels and feel confident working on their own can opt for the Advanced track to craft a five to six piece design without additional tool instruction, so familiarity with the tools is important. All participants must be 16 or older and need to complete a waiver before taking part. A spirited musical comedy follows the Little Sisters of Hoboken as they scramble to raise funds after a disastrous accident in the kitchen. When their cook, Sister Julia, Child of God, unintentionally poisons fifty-two of the convent’s sisters, the remaining five stage a lively variety show to cover the unexpected expenses. At the center are Reverend Mother Regina, once part of a circus, Sister Mary Hubert, the Mistress of Novices, Sister Robert Anne, a streetwise nun from Brooklyn, Sister Mary Leo, a novice with ballerina ambitions, and Sister Mary Amnesia, who lost her memory when a crucifix fell on her head. Book, music, and lyrics are by Dan Goggin. Presented through special arrangement with Concord Theatricals. Produced in part by Dr. Joseph and Nancye Britton, with additional funding support from Stacey Streetman and Gary and Linda Shephard. Due to upcoming construction of the new Clarksville Performing Arts Center, this production will be staged in the Roxy Regional Theatre’s temporary home. Performances begin promptly, and seating opens before the show. Plan to arrive early to allow time for parking, concessions, and finding your seat. This free book club features Victorian Psycho by Virginia Feito, a gothic horror set in nineteenth century England. What begins as careful concealment spirals into grisly outcomes, all narrated with pitch black wit and a taste for the grotesque.
