Enjoy wind band music at the Dogwood Park Performance Pavilion as the Cookeville Community Band performs. Founded in 2002 by the late Wayne Pegram, this ensemble brings together public school band directors, college professors, college and high school students, and local musicians from across the Upper Cumberland. Admission is free and family friendly, and the event is presented with support from the City of Cookeville Leisure Services Department. Attendees may bring lawn chairs for comfortable seating. Concessions and restrooms will be available. The band also offers a free summer concert series at the pavilion along with a holiday performance.
