Story Time with a Shelter Dog
Enjoy a read-aloud children's story alongside a visiting shelter dog, and sometimes a cat, from Mission Animal Shelter. During story hour, 50 percent of sales go straight to the shelter. The experience gives selected dogs time outside the facility, builds their socialization, and highlights adoptable pets that are seeking permanent homes. This is a free, drop-in event open to everyone.
