    Coastal Clutch Workshop

Corpus Christi · Art Center of Corpus Christi, 100 N Shoreline Blvd

At the Bayview Gallery in the Art Center of Corpus Christi, this hands-on, three hour workshop guides participants in transforming a simple clutch into a coastal inspired accessory. Using provided materials such as seashells, pearls, and other beach themed accents, attendees learn how to choose and arrange elements, adhere them securely, and refine a layout that feels balanced and distinctive. Instruction covers planning the design, layering textures, and adding finishing details so each clutch becomes a one of a kind statement. Creative direction is up to each maker, whether the goal is a natural shoreline look, an elegant pearl and shell motif, or a colorful, playful style. No prior experience is required, and all tools and supplies are included. Everyone leaves with a finished, personalized clutch that is ready for vacations, beach days, special events, or gifting. Suitable for ages 6 and older. The Art Center does not offer class exchanges or transfers, and refunds are provided only if the Art Center cancels the class. Instruction is led by Alba McMillan, a Bachelor of Arts graduate who has called Corpus Christi home for six years and draws inspiration from the Coastal Bend to encourage creative, uniquely personal coastal designs.
