Groups & Meetups

Crafting Wednesdays

Crafters of all kinds are welcome, including knitters, crocheters, embroiderers, quilters, sewists, weavers, and diamond art enthusiasts. Bring a work in progress, settle in at The Rendon Creamery, and connect with fellow makers in a friendly, low-key setting. Newcomers can pick up tips, ask questions, and find inspiration from the local crafting community. Please bring your own supplies. The gathering offers a comfortable vibe, good conversation, and handcrafted drinks, along with coffee and homemade ice cream to enjoy while you create.

Markets

Mutant Bazaar 57

Known as Fort Worth’s longest-running night market and movie series, Mutant Bazaar gathers more than 40 local artists, collectors, makers, mystics, and others for a lively marketplace, including an entire room devoted to horror, oddities, and mysticism. Before the feature, enjoy the Vintage Video Preshow curated by the Movie Mutant, packed with wonderfully weird trailers, music videos, and oddball clips that fit the theme. Later, a raffle decides who spins the Wheel of Weird, and the grand prize winner chooses the secret film that caps the night. Plan ahead: attendees must be 16 or older. Food vendors and a concession stand will be available, and BYOB is permitted. Parking is free; if the lot on Maddox fills, use street parking. Bringing cash helps keep purchases quick. No tickets are sold in advance; instead, donations in any amount are accepted at the door, with all contributions benefiting Southside Preservation Hall and its restoration. Supported by Haley + Hares Studio and The Foggy Merchant.
