At Layton Ed Kenley Amphitheater, this installment of the free Sunday night concert series, made possible in part by support from Layton R.A.M.P., offers a relaxed setting where guests can bring a camping chair or blanket or take a seat in the stadium. Outside food and nonalcoholic drinks are welcome. The Alicia Stockman Band delivers a blend of folk and Americana with heartfelt storytelling, vibrant onstage energy, and rich three-part harmonies. Drawing on the tradition of artists such as Patty Griffin, Indigo Girls, and Jewel, Alicia and her five-piece band present original songs from the new album Homebound, inviting listeners into a set filled with honest, relatable moments.

Change is sweeping in as the sixties arrive. Hairspray, an eight-time Tony Award winner including Best Musical, delivers family-friendly laughs, romance, and irresistibly catchy tunes. Set in 1962 Baltimore, it follows Tracy Turnblad, a charismatic plus-size teen who dreams of dancing on the Corny Collins Show. When she earns a spot, she rises from outsider to local star, aims to unseat the reigning teen queen, win the heart of Link Larkin, and champion integration on television, all while keeping her towering hairstyle intact.

Celebrate summer at the USU Botanical Center with a free outdoor series that pairs guided garden strolls, fresh produce tastings, and live music. Each week features a different sound, including vocal groups, local bands, and DJs, and this edition highlights the Northview Jazz Band. Pack a blanket, lawn chairs, a shade umbrella, sunscreen, and a picnic cooler, which is welcome, and relax in the gardens while connecting with the community. There is no cost to attend and no sign up is required. Updates and possible cancellations related to weather, illness, or other unforeseen changes may be shared on social media.
