Spanish Conversation Circle / Círculo de Conversación en Español
Practice and connect in a friendly Spanish conversation circle designed for both learners and fluent speakers. The program focuses on real conversation and welcomes every level, from beginners to native speakers. Participants can build confidence by speaking and listening in Spanish, sharing experiences, and learning from one another in a supportive, inclusive setting. No sign-up is needed and walk-ins are welcome. Made possible with support from the Friends of the Lacey Library.

Part of the Lacey in Tune series at Huntamer Park, this performance features Eric Ode, whose name is pronounced Oh-dee, an award-winning children's singer and songwriter, a frequently published author and poet, and an engaging performer. His shows are lively and highly participatory, weaving interactive music with stories, poetry, skits, puppets, and props. A former elementary teacher and middle school English instructor who holds a master's in educational technology, he has presented his music and poetry programs for schools, libraries, and community festivals throughout the United States and internationally in Germany, Japan, and Guam. Lacey in Tune offers no-cost, family-friendly entertainment for the community.
Huntamer ParkWTS South Sound Speed Mentoring
Join WTS Puget Sound in Olympia for an engaging speed mentoring evening focused on women leaders in the transportation industry. You’ll spend the first part of the event checking in, grabbing beverages and light snacks, and mingling. Then come the speed-mentoring small-group conversations with rotating leaders, followed by more mingling where mentees share their takeaways. Tickets include admission, one drink, and light appetizers.
The Bus Stop Olympia Bar & BistroWednesdays on the Farm at GRuB
Summer evenings on the farm return with a first-Wednesday monthly series at GRuB. Each gathering offers chances to pitch in during volunteer time, tour the farm, take part in a workshop, pick up plant starts at a sale, and enjoy mocktails with a food demonstration. A garden workshop focused on weeds is part of the lineup. People who planned to attend the Youth Program Fundraising Evening can receive updates on the Youth Program and learn ways to stay connected to that work.
