đź“° In the news
Transit routes reimagined after feedback: Citilink’s service updates begin today in Southeast Fort Wayne, retiring the Southeast Local and combining Routes 7 and 7A. Route 6 is renamed, with staff riding along to help riders — see what’s changing and why.
Shape your city’s priorities: Fort Wayne’s Neighborhood Presidents meet today as city officials gather input on investing federal funds for the next five years. The meeting streams on the Fort Wayne Neighborhoods Facebook page — see how to participate.
Fort Wayne corridor construction: Lane closures continue on West Jefferson Boulevard for water main replacement. Work began Feb. 25 between Ardmore and Taylor, with one lane each way and business access maintained into May — get timeline and access details.
Nothing prepares you for a pet emergency: I learned that the hard way after charging $10k to a credit card for life-saving surgery on my cat, Miss Stache. As soon as we got home, I signed up for Spot. It’s super affordable – and reimburses up to 90% of the bill.

🏆 Gold and silver are heating up
Together with our sponsor American Hartford Gold
Gold just posted its strongest run in decades… and the momentum is carrying into 2026. Silver has become one of the most talked-about assets as investors look for ways to stay ahead of market volatility.
While many are still sitting on the sidelines, others are quietly repositioning.
If you’re wondering whether you’re missing something, AHG has a free guide explaining what’s driving the renewed interest… and how investors are approaching precious metals right now.
It’s free and worth reading before the next move.

🫶 We got your back
Game-night wing fix: Wrigley Field Bar & Grill nails the crispy-juicy balance, with sauces like Original Hot, Garlic Parm, Lemon Pepper, or Extra Hot if you’re brave. It’s a friendly Fort Wayne sports-bar hang with live local music on weekends, perfect for catching up over a pile of wings.
Self-care, but make it easy: The Find stocks a Beauty + Wellness corner with indie fragrances, approachable skincare, and little feel-good extras, perfect for a midweek reset or a last-minute gift that reads put-together. A small treat that still feels like an upgrade is kind of The Find’s thing.
Swing through winter: Suite Spot Golf keeps your game sharp without frozen fingers. Eight TrackMan suites, big HD screens, and a sneaky-good bourbon list create the perfect indoor loop, the kind where “one more hole” quietly becomes “one more round,” and practice feels like play.
Thinning hair? It only gets worse: A few months ago, I noticed my ponytail getting thinner. I tried the usual stuff (biotin, shampoo, etc.) but mostly just hoped it would fix itself… until I learned that active follicles can permanently go dormant if you don’t do something about it. The good news? You can get treatment that actually works with no office visits or trips to the pharmacy. Learn more about my favorite online options here.

It may feel like an invasion of privacy, but unfortunately It’s the new normal. Whether you’re joining a committee, selling something locally, dating again, or just meeting new neighbors… people are going to look you up online.
Like it or not, the internet has a way of surfacing past mistakes and outdated information that no longer reflects who you are.
