Super Sunday Group Ride
This relaxed, social mountain bike outing at Chewacla State Park welcomes riders of every experience level. Routes are decided at the start based on who is there, and participants usually break into different paces so everyone can ride comfortably, from easygoing cruising to faster flow. Options may include the CAMP trail at roughly one mile returning to the parking area and the CCC trail at about three miles that also loops back to the lot. Virtual versions of the CAMP and CCC trails are available. The ride itself is free, but the park collects an entrance fee. Prior and current military with ID are free, individuals ages 12 to 61 are $5 per person, children ages 4 to 11 are $3, and seniors 62 and older are $3. The group gathers in the second parking lot, and friends are welcome.
