Skate night returns to Bienville Square with a free, family-friendly evening that celebrates the energy of Downtown Mobile. DJ Geaux will keep the music going as skaters glide around the rink together. All ages and skill levels are welcome, and adaptive skaters will find the rink ADA accessible. Skates will not be available to rent, so bring your own roller skates or roller blades. The rink entrance will be at the corner of Conception Street and Dauphin Street. For a smooth experience, children 10 and younger must be with an adult, and skates are required to enter. Keep with the flow of skaters, do not stand still or make sudden stops on the rink, and beginners should stay to the inside lane. Bicycles, hoverboards, scooters, and skateboards are not permitted, and pets are not allowed.

Mobile becomes an open air gallery as the city’s first festival devoted to large scale murals turns walls, public areas, and surprising locations into vivid works of art. During the festival, attendees can watch new pieces take shape, meet the artists, and see the city from a fresh creative perspective. Artist applications are open, inviting creators who want to leave their mark on Mobile. Community sponsors are welcome to support this citywide celebration of public art, helping to create lasting works and strengthen the creative community. At Washington Square, a historic park in Mobile, the Mobtown Picnic Pop-Up offers live music from Matthew Wojo, a variety of food trucks, local vendors, and relaxed outdoor activities. Bring a blanket or lawn chair, along with small personal umbrellas and sunscreen, and feel free to pack your own picnic and beverages. To keep views open and space comfortable for everyone, large tents and canopies may be restricted. Pets are welcome on leashes, and owners are responsible for cleanup. This gathering depends on the weather, and any changes will be shared through City of Mobile Events social media and official communications. By attending, guests consent to being photographed.
