Twitty & Lynn bring the legacy of Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn to life with a concert that starts with the band kicking into Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man, then a shared glance between Tre Twitty and Tayla Lynn that recalls the spark of their grandparents. What follows is a 90 minute journey through songs and stories that honor a family tradition and the timeless art of country duets. They are not doing impressions. Instead, they celebrate the music and the relatives they lovingly call Poppy and Memaw, inviting multiple generations to experience these classics together. Guided early on by Loretta Lynn herself, the pair came together after Tayla saw Tre perform at the Lynn family ranch, tested a few shows, and took the concept on a Canadian run in 2018. Their path led to a 2022 Grand Ole Opry debut, where they performed on the venue’s historic circle once shared by Conway and Loretta. The set features favorites such as After the Fire Is Gone and You’re the Reason Our Kids Are Ugly, along with solo staples like Hello, Darlin’ and Coal Miner’s Daughter. Alongside the tributes, they are shaping their own sound with original material and have released memorable covers, including I’m on Fire and a heartfelt version of Feelins’, recorded the day after Loretta’s passing. Onstage, easy chemistry and candid conversation, including Tayla’s reflections on sobriety, create a sincere connection.
