Absolution Offroad is organizing an advanced ride at Hawk Pride Mountain Offroad to tackle the park’s first and newest Badge of Honor trail, Uphill Both Ways. Participation requires vehicles with 37-inch or larger tires, a winch, a GMRS radio, and recovery gear such as a tree saver and shackles, as well as prior offroad driving experience. The route is rated a hard six on the technical scale. Drivers agree to spot for one another and render aid as needed, watching out for the vehicle ahead and behind, and attendance signifies acceptance of Absolution Offroad’s liability and personal injury waiver. Ride requirements are mandatory. The meetup location is the parking lot outside the park office. Many attendees plan to stay at Coldwater Inn, about eight miles from the venue, which offers breakfast and features a pool and fire pit area. The package is sold as a set of four classes for one consistent weekday and time slot each month, and capacity is limited, so advance registration is recommended. The cost is $48 plus tax for one child with one adult for the complete series, with an additional child available for $48 plus tax for the series. Set at Hawk Pride Mountain ORV Park in Tuscumbia, Alabama, this four day off road gathering offers challenging trails, sought after raffle prizes, tasty food, music and plenty of fun. Open to all 4x4s looking for an adventurous ride, the park features more than 120 rock crawling trails spread over 1,000 acres at a highly rated off road destination. Options range from rigs that are barely above stock to advanced rock buggies. Hosted by the Louisiana Land Krewesers, the event blends community, trail time and entertainment across all four days.

Returning to Northwest Alabama Ride Park in Russellville, this event includes all three classes. Since the last visit, the park has added new RV power hookups and continued improvements around the grounds. This time it will be set up in the shade as the action returns to this familiar venue.

REVival Society presents the inaugural Revved Up For Recovery at Harley-Davidson of Tuscumbia. World-class illusionist David Garrard brings his signature magic to the historic Princess Theatre for a special matinee. For nearly five decades he has performed for audiences across the country with family-friendly shows that blend classic stage illusions, comedy, and interactive moments. His work has appeared on America’s Got Talent and Britain’s Got Talent, and his performance on Penn & Teller: Fool Us earned recognition as a standout surprise for Penn. Garrard is also the author of two books for magicians, Out of My Hat: The Magic of David Garrard and Magic Moments. The second half of the program honors Harry Houdini on the 100th anniversary of his passing, featuring two of Houdini’s famed illusions along with a tribute to his wife, Bess. The show also includes a salute to the United States in recognition of the nation’s 250th birthday. This event welcomes audiences of all ages.

Sam Bush brings his pioneering blend of progressive bluegrass and newgrass to The Princess Theatre in Decatur, Alabama. A mandolinist, fiddler, vocalist, bandleader, and tireless innovator, he has spent more than five decades expanding the possibilities of acoustic music by weaving bluegrass with rock and roll, jazz improvisation, reggae rhythms, and long-form jams. Raised on a Kentucky cattle farm in a music-filled home, he earned early acclaim as a teenager, winning the junior division of the National Oldtime Fiddler’s Contest three times and recording an instrumental album while still in high school. His drive for a broader sound carried him from Bluegrass Alliance to forming New Grass Revival with Ebo Walker, Courtney Johnson, and Curtis Burch, a band that fused traditional instruments with adventurous arrangements and rock repertoire while touring with Leon Russell. After 18 years with New Grass Revival, he went on to collaborate with Emmylou Harris’ Nash Ramblers, Lyle Lovett, and Béla Fleck and the Flecktones. In the years since, he has released seven albums and a live DVD, built a reputation as one of acoustic music’s most joyful and influential performers, and become such a fixture at Telluride’s bluegrass festival that fans bestowed a royal nickname. His influence resonates through later generations, inspiring artists like Punch Brothers, Steep Canyon Rangers, Greensky Bluegrass, and many others who continue to draw from his fearless approach to tradition.

The 4th Annual HOGS for HOPE Poker Run brings riders to Natchez Trace Harley-Davidson in Tuscumbia, Alabama to raise awareness for breast cancer.
