Family events in Mobile, AL

Now in its eighth year, endITnow Family Day brings a free, family-friendly gathering to Cathedral Square in Mobile. The program features live music, door prizes, a community picnic, and ice cold lemonade, along with the Annual “Love Shouldn’t Hurt” march focused on ending violence. This community celebration is made possible through the support of sponsors, local businesses, community groups, city leaders, and first responders.

Put on by the Mobile Country Music Association, this event features live music, opportunities to dance, and time to connect with others. Alcohol and smoking are not allowed.

Vendors gather for a weekly flea market every Sunday, unless otherwise noted. Expect some food, some vintage clothes, some vintage toys, and plenty of other finds as well.

The Young Writers’ Room is a weekly drop-in program for students in grades 3 through 12. It’s a supportive space for young creators to get help with writing, whether they’re working on a school assignment, an English task, or a personal creative project. You can bring your work, your ideas, or come just to ask questions.
