    Bennett Farms Pumpkin Patch

Bennett Farms, 1049 County Road 79, Heflin
    See details

Bennett Farms is a fourth-generation family farm in Heflin, Alabama that shares a slice of farm life with visitors. Take a relaxing hayride, pick out pumpkins, wander through wildflowers and sunflowers, visit the farm animals, and try your luck in the corn maze for a full day of farm fun. Country cooking is prepared the old-fashioned way over an open fire in wash pots and on a wood-burning stove. Admission is $14 per person, and children ages 1 and under are free, with discounts available for military and seniors. The entry fee covers a wide range of activities such as the corn maze and corn cribs, hayrides and a wagon train, a petting farm, pipe slides and a pipe swing, a hay bale maze, duck races, the Loblolly nature trail and orchard, fall photo spots, a teepee and tree house, scarecrow decorating, zip lines, and games including corn hole, hoop hopper, jumbo four-in-a-row, ring toss, steer roping, a tire crawl, a rat run, and saw horse hoop toss, plus samples from the cookhouse and more. Food, pumpkins, flowers, and store merchandise are available for an additional cost, and the farm store features items from local vendors. Tickets can be bought in advance or at the gate, and purchasing ahead may help on the busiest days. Cash and cards are accepted. The farm strives to be wheelchair and stroller friendly, though surfaces include gravel, dirt, and grass, and large-wheeled strollers are recommended. Pets are not allowed during Pumpkin Patch season. Weekday field trips are available by appointment.
