Yoga Class - Flow and Grow
Flow and Grow offers a lively practice that pairs vinyasa sequences with meditation, breathwork, and mindful awareness to support growth and self knowledge. Designed for every experience level, the session adapts to the energy of the day and may draw from hatha, yin, restorative, or other styles when helpful. Each class opens with gentle warm ups before moving into progressive flows that cultivate strength, flexibility, and balance. Options are provided for newcomers while experienced practitioners can take on deeper challenges. Themes of self discovery and personal development are woven throughout, and the closing moments invite a clear intention to strengthen your connection to yourself and your practice.
Art Insights: Roots and Recipes
This program celebrates the launch of artist Laura Tanner’s AMFA residency and introduces Dish, her community-driven project exploring the connections among food, memory, and place. In dialogue with AMFA’s exhibition A Month of Sundays: Art and the Persistence of Time, Tanner explains how she transforms shared recipes and stories into artworks that reflect the rituals of cooking, gathering, and tradition. Local chefs contribute to the conversation about how Arkansas ingredients and culinary heritage shape their work, and they will share small bites from their restaurants in the Atrium. Details on participating guest chefs will be announced soon.
Arkansas Museum of Fine ArtsArkansas Construction Hall of Fame
A formal evening at Chenal Country Club features the Arkansas Construction Hall of Fame awards banquet and induction ceremony. Black tie is optional. Individual tickets are $150, and tables are available for $1200. Sponsorships are offered and will help fund a permanent Arkansas Construction Hall of Fame exhibit being created at the new AGC Arkansas headquarters. Founded in 2000, the Hall of Fame recognizes individuals whose work has strengthened Arkansas infrastructure and communities. The planned exhibit will turn a once-every-two-years celebration into a year-round destination that preserves and shares the stories of the state’s most influential construction leaders. The 2026 class includes Jimmy Alessi of Alessi Keyes Construction, Sam Alley of VCC Construction, William “Brock” Johnson of Garver, and Doug Wasson of Kinco Constructors. Peter MacKeith of the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design at the University of Arkansas will receive the 2026 Champion of Construction Award, and Michael Leiterman of Kinco Constructors is the 2026 Emerging Professional. The program is produced in partnership by the Associated General Contractors of Arkansas, AIA Arkansas, and the American Council of Engineering Companies of Arkansas, and induction is considered one of the top distinctions in the state’s construction industry.
