Spend a day focused on 4 way formation skydiving with coaching from world champions Eliana Rodriguez and Michelle Karamon. This coaching is open to all licensed skydivers at any level, whether the aim is to prepare for Nationals or simply build skills for more enjoyable jumps with friends. Attend solo or with a team, and the coaches will guide you through everything needed for successful 4 way jumps. The plan includes five rounds of skill-building competition and practical tips from the hosts. All licensed skydivers are welcome, including beginner, intermediate, and advanced, and participants should be comfortable docking safely in a 4 way formation. Virtual and in person teams are welcome. Video is not included, so bring your own or the coaches can help you find one. The fee is $50 per competitor. Registration is required by emailing arizonaskydivingtribe@gmail.com. If you do not yet have a team, help is available to match you with one. Eliana Rodriguez has earned 21 US National FS championships, 5 indoor US FS championships, 16 additional US National podium finishes, 13 gold medals from international competitions, and 7 world records in large formation skydiving. She was the first woman to win an 8 way medal at a World Championship and was the only woman on Arizona Airspeed for over 25 years, until Michelle joined. Michelle Karamon is a multiple world champion and record holder who has competed around the world with teams including R2G, XP8, XPG4, Tunnel Vision, and now Arizona Airspeed. Both coaches call Skydive Arizona home.
B License Course with Axis Flight School
The AXIS B-License Weekend centers on essential canopy skills for advancing skydivers and is built to raise confidence and enjoyment in flight through an immersive small-group format. Training takes place in a controlled setting that reduces stress and supports strong retention and performance. Across two days, coaching covers the canopy proficiency and live water landing elements of USPA B-License requirements D, E, and F. The written B-License exam is part of those requirements and can be administered right after the course or scheduled for a later time. The canopy proficiency curriculum deepens understanding of your parachute and emphasizes advanced control, active flying, and situational awareness. Expect classroom learning and in-air practice that includes precision slow flight, stall prevention and recovery, effective use of toggles and risers, personalized analysis of every landing, and one-on-one guidance between jumps. A 90-minute live water landing session fulfills the USPA component and prepares you for destinations and events where water landings may be encountered. Because water work is included, participants must be proficient swimmers, and a canopy and harness are provided for the pool portion. Lift tickets and packing are not included in the course price. Enrollment is limited to ten participants, and a non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a spot; that deposit is applied to the total and the remaining balance is collected at check-in on the first morning. If a cancellation becomes necessary, the deposit may be moved to a future AXIS B-License Weekend with different dates, but cancellations within 72 hours of the start result in forfeiture. After registering, an email from AXIS will outline additional details, including formal and knowledge requirements.

A day to pray, run, and support vocations awaits at Villago Park in Casa Grande. Hosted by St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, this family-friendly community 5K celebrates vocations in marriage, family life, the priesthood, religious life, and faithful service. Participants may run, walk, volunteer, sponsor, or cheer others on, with every role helping strengthen the parish community and the future of the Church. The timed 5K runner or walker option is $40, the untimed support walker option is $25, and children under 10 participate for free. Registered runners receive an event T-shirt and a finisher medal. Santa Cruz Valley Union High SchoolWomen's Upright World Record Training Camp
At Skydive Arizona in Eloy, this training camp led by Sara Curtis and Amy Chmelecki focuses on advancing large formation upright flying while also serving as a selection opportunity for upcoming record attempts. Participation is open to anyone working to refine upright formation skills, and men are welcome even though the training supports a women’s record effort. Participants must be comfortable flying both head up and head down, able to manage level and proximity safely within a large formation while upright, and capable of head down approaches and safe breakoffs. Prior experience with vertical big-way formations is preferred. The plan calls for about five jumps per day, for a total of ten jumps over two days. Space is limited and will be allocated in the order registrations are completed. The cost is 685 dollars when paid through Zelle or 715 dollars when paid through PayPal, and this total includes the ten jumps and the registration fee. Payment is due at the time of registration and is nonrefundable. Anyone flying in an unsafe manner at any stage, including approach, vertical freefall, breakoff, or under canopy, may be removed from the event without a refund.
