Carter also steps forward as a lead singer on a forthcoming solo project titled Lowdown Hoedown, featuring contributions from Jerry Douglas, Sam Bush, Sarah Jarosz, Billy Strings, Aoife O’Donovan, and Bronwyn Keith-Hynes. The title track pairs a good-time duet with Dierks Bentley and a flashy fiddle solo, while Good Things Happen, a Jamie Hartford song with harmonies from Aoife O’Donovan, offers a tender mood. Pieces like Dust Bowl Dream and Six O’Clock Train add a more somber tone. Throughout, decades on the road and an enduring commitment to bluegrass come through in his playing and voice.

C-A-L RanchUNDEROATH: THE VAN TOUR TO VANS WARPED TOUR
Underoath brings a volatile yet tuneful charge to the stage, turning creative friction into songs that connect on a grand scale. The band consistently chooses challenge over comfort, a path reflected in two gold records and three Grammy nominations. Their catalog blends abrasion, atmosphere, and melody, and Define the Great Line debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, a rare feat for a record this heavy. Their live presence spans intimate rooms to tours with Alice In Chains and Bring Me The Horizon, along with stints on the Vans Warped Tour. Recent chapters highlight the same restlessness. Erase Me reintroduced the group with direct riffs and big hooks, while Voyeurist delivered high definition ferocity and was named one of Revolver’s 25 best albums of 2022 alongside releases from Slipknot, Ghost, and Meshuggah. LET GO signals another forward step, pairing towering choruses with inventive weight. Onstage they occupy the space between massive hooks and boundary-pushing heaviness, channeling vulnerability with a cinematic sweep.
