Old Town Eureka comes alive for the eleventh week of the Friday Night Market, a summer series that fills the district with music, local makers, and community spirit. Browse more than 100 vendors, explore the farmers market, enjoy favorite food options, and sip local beer and craft cocktails while live performances unfold across three stages. The evening features Makenu on the Crab Stage and Anna and the Situation at Clark Plaza. This edition celebrates The Glamorous Life, a theme that encourages bold style, bright colors, and a treat-yourself vibe that puts fun and flair in the spotlight. The market is free and family friendly, and many nearby shops, galleries, and eateries plan to stay open later to welcome visitors. Event guidelines include no outside alcohol and no smoking or vaping within the market area, leaving pets at home, and a zero tolerance policy for violence, harassment, or hate speech. Guests are also asked to be courteous when entering shops and to keep food and drinks out of stores.

Taking part in the parade is optional, so anyone interested in learning and playing is welcome. This is a community-driven program with a sliding scale of $15 to $20 per class or the option to register for the full series for $125. Student discounts and scholarships are available so no one is turned away for lack of funds. Sessions take place at HLOC The Space.
