At the Main Library, the Long Beach Symphony presents an Instrument Petting Zoo created for the whole family. Rock & Brews Redondo Beach hosts a high-energy night celebrating the music of Billy Idol and Poison. Generation Idol channels Idol’s signature sneer and swagger, with Craig Knight of Legends in Concert up front and Ben Morris capturing Steve Stevens’ guitar fire. The set reaches from chart-toppers like Rebel Yell and Mony Mony to deeper favorites and crowd-pleasing covers. The band has toured internationally, headlined in Las Vegas, been recognized by AXS TV as Best Billy Idol tribute, performed on Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Line, and worked with brands including Coca-Cola, 7-Eleven, and MTV. Also on the bill, Ultimate Poison Tribute brings together Southern California veterans who have appeared on AXS TV’s The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands and toured with Royal Caribbean and Norwegian.
