San Diego SCCA-Autocross June 20th & 21st 2026
San Diego SCCA Autocross presents a full weekend at Lake Elsinore Storm Stadium with a dedicated practice day followed by a combined competition and practice program. On the practice day, a primary driver receives up to twelve runs for a $90 entry, and a second driver sharing the same car and run group can be added for $25 with the pair deciding how to divide the runs. The competition day offers a $60 championship entry that includes four timed runs, optional extra runs for $25, and a Time Only practice option priced at $85 for eight runs. A single car may take no more than eight runs within a run group. Early bird registration includes a $20 discount, and day-of signups for the competition day are priced $20 higher than the early bird rate. Space for extra X runs is limited and released on a first come, first served basis when registration opens. The program follows SCCA National Solo Rules along with San Diego SCCA supplementary regulations. This is a work and run format, so every driver is expected to support event operations. Organizers may adjust run or work groups as needed and, on competition days, they may cap entries at four runs to accommodate championship fields, with refunds issued if that occurs. A novice course walk and a mandatory drivers meeting take place before cars head out on course.

Sound-based vibration therapy has been reported to ease various kinds of discomfort, including arthritis, menstrual and postoperative pain, and knee replacement recovery, while supporting mobility, reducing muscle tension and stiffness, improving circulation, and helping lower blood pressure. During the experience, feelings and memories may surface, and each person’s process is personal and intended to serve their highest good. A one day head down big way fundamentals skill camp at Skydive Elsinore brings intermediate to advanced vertical flyers together to strengthen core skills, safety, awareness, and confidence for larger formations and more advanced events. Coaches Jesse Jaber and Chris Dare share decades of combined experience in vertical big way skydiving. Both have contributed to current head down and sequential world records, with Chris serving as a Sector Captain on the Vertical World Record. Jesse led Team USA to gold in Indoor Dynamic Vertical Sequential 8 Way at the World Championships, and Chris also competed on that gold medal team. They also organize the Barnstorm Sequential Event, where experienced flyers build complex dive flows and explore the limits of vertical sequential flying. Participants work on the spine and ribs method, gain a clearer picture of big way formations, and learn what it takes to earn a slot on a record. The camp is intended for vertical flyers who are new to big ways or looking to refresh and refine their skills. Minimum skills include holding a stable head down position for the entire jump, safely approaching and taking a dock, flying comfortably in groups of at least twelve, and performing a safe breakoff by turning 180 degrees from the center and tracking away. Flyers who are not yet at this level can look to Vertical HD or HU skill camps on the same weekend that offer small group coaching to build HD and HU fundamentals. The format includes a commitment to five jumps, weather permitting, with groups of at least seven plus a coach required for the camp to run. Loads are planned on 60 minute calls to allow time to pack, review video, and brief the next jump. Beginner groups concentrate on the foundations of vertical formation flight by clarifying level, slot, and docking, exploring multiple head down exits, managing slow and fast fall rates, practicing controlled approaches and high fives, and learning safe breakoffs. Intermediate groups work on diving and floating exits, 360 degree turns, carving, docking or breaking in, and VFS or sequential-style dive flows. Participants work in small groups of two to three with an experienced coach and complete five coached jumps, each followed by a thorough video debrief. The camp welcomes skydivers from newly licensed A jumpers to seasoned flyers. Coaching is provided at no additional cost, while standard jump tickets are the participant’s responsibility. Reservations are required to keep groups small and ensure enough coaches. A $50 deposit is collected and then applied back to your jump account upon arrival.
EXCEL Tracking
Skydive Elsinore presents a focused EXCEL Tracking camp that builds strong small-group tracking skills for two to three flyers at a time. The day begins with a required morning seminar, then participants make five coached jumps, each supported by thorough briefings and debriefings. Coaches work with both newer trackers and experienced jumpers, with an emphasis on planning and safety on every skydive. The only cost is a jump ticket. Participants must meet the stated prerequisites, which include a B license, an audible altimeter, at least 100 jumps, and a willingness to learn. Reservations are required and spots tend to fill quickly. To reserve a place, contact Chris Dare at 03dare@gmail.com. A $50 deposit is required and will be credited back to the jump account upon arrival.
