Participants should bring all firearms they intend to list for their CCW, eye and ear protection, closed-toe shoes and pants, and at least 200 rounds per caliber. In partnership with Naturalist For You, this 3-hour, 3-mile hiking tour with naturalist, storyteller, and local historian Joel Robinson explores the canyon’s natural history along with the rumors and mysteries that made it a local legend. Keep watch for nocturnal creatures including toads, snakes, tarantulas, trapdoor spiders, burrowing scorpions, and glowworms. Haunted Orange County advises wearing sturdy, comfortable shoes.

Bridge the Gap is a two day skills camp at Skydive Elsinore designed to advance tracking, angle, and dynamic flying in a small group setting. It welcomes newer and experienced flyers alike. Those starting out receive a careful introduction to angle flying, while more seasoned participants focus on targeted drills, back tracking, and dynamic moves such as moving through the vertical. Groups are limited to three participants with a coach, and you remain with the same group both days if it is a good fit, while coaches rotate between groups daily. Plan for six jumps per day, weather permitting, with about 40 minute calls so there is time to pack, review video, and brief the next jump. The first day begins with a 30 minute safety briefing. The goal is to develop skills and awareness that prepare participants to fly confidently in larger groups. Minimum experience required is 150 skydives and 50 tracking jumps. Registration is $450 for the two days and does not include jump tickets. If you do not yet meet the minimums, separate one on one or two on one coaching can be arranged outside the camp to help you reach the required level for a future camp.

Help reduce neighborhood cat overpopulation through a dedicated Trap Neuter Return day presented by the Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center. TNR humanely manages community cat populations by safely trapping cats, providing vaccinations and microchips, performing spay or neuter surgery, tipping an ear for identification, then returning them to their outdoor homes. Bring each cat in a covered, humane trap labeled with both the cat’s name and the trapper’s name. Carriers, boxes, and crates are not accepted, and it is one cat per trap. All community cats will be ear tipped. There is a limit of four cats per person. No appointment is required, and capacity is limited to 40 cats. The fee is $45. Humane traps are available to rent from the Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center for $5 per day or $20 per week with a $75 deposit refunded upon return. A two day skill camp at Skydive Elsinore focuses on advancing tracking, angle, and dynamic flying in small groups. It welcomes a full range of experience levels, from newer flyers learning angle flying with careful attention to safety to more experienced jumpers refining drills, exploring back tracking, or practicing dynamic transitions such as moving through the vertical. The goal is to build technique and awareness that support confident flying in larger groups. Participants plan for six jumps per day, weather permitting. Groups consist of three flyers with a coach, and you stay with the same teammates across both days when the fit is right. Coaches rotate to a new group each day. Forty minute calls between loads provide time to pack, review video, and brief the next jump. The first day begins with a 30 minute safety seminar before jumping starts. Minimum experience for the camp is 150 skydives and 50 tracking jumps. Registration is $450 for the full program and does not include jump tickets. This two day Leading Movement Course at Skydive Elsinore is designed for flyers who want to develop the skills needed to lead tracking and angle skydives. Participants explore a leader’s responsibilities, account for dropzone operations and weather, build safe flight plans, consider in-air dynamics, and practice effective briefings and debriefings. The environment encourages questions, scenario discussions, and detailed, personalized feedback on your leading. The program combines classroom sessions with jumping. Every participant will plan, brief, lead, and debrief at least one skydive, and will join other jumps as a follower. Weather allowing, the target is three to four jumps per day. Groups are limited to five participants plus a coach. Applicants must have at least 300 skydives, be able to track on the belly within six feet of the leader, fly safely in a six way, and understand jump run, daily wind forecasts, and freefall drift. Registration for the two day course is 450 dollars and does not include jump tickets. Registration is nonrefundable unless a suitable replacement is found, with a 100 dollar administrative fee. Participants must be ready to commit to up to four jumps per day and to complete or pay for every jump their group undertakes. Applications are reviewed and those accepted will receive payment instructions by email.

Participants stay with the same group for both days when it is a good fit, and coaches rotate to a new group daily. Each cycle includes a 40 minute call for packing, video review, and briefing. Outside camera coverage and camp video edits are provided by Chris Bess. Registration prioritizes full three day spots, and limited Friday only or weekend only options may be offered depending on sign ups. A commitment to six jumps per day is required. Minimum experience includes 300 skydives and 100 tracking jumps. Participants must be able to fly safely in a group of six, maintain heading and consistent speed within 15 feet of the leader on both belly and back, and be working on transitioning through the vertical in a group of six. Those not yet meeting these requirements are directed to the Bridge the Gap Angle camps for smaller group progression. The registration fee is $520 for three days and does not include jump tickets at $37 each. Jumps not completed due to weather or lack of loads are fully refunded after the event, and missed jumps for work or personal reasons are not refunded. Night jumps for licensed skydivers at Skydive Elsinore require a B-License or higher, or B-License qualification through completed water training and the canopy control proficiency card. Signups are handled in the office. Pricing per slot will be announced, block jumps are not permitted, and funds must be added to your account before sunset. If planning multiple jumps, ensure the full amount is on account before the sunset load departs. Attendance at the mandatory safety briefing after sunset is required, with the specific time to be announced, and anyone who misses it will not be allowed to jump. FAA rules require a light visible for at least three statute miles from canopy deployment through landing. Regular glow sticks do not meet that standard. A red glow stick on the chest strap is acceptable as an addition, but a brighter strobe facing backward must be used while under canopy until landing. If a strobe is needed, the Gold State Gear Store is arranging suitable options for night use.

A one day head down big-way fundamentals skill camp at Skydive Elsinore led by Jesse Jaber and Chris Dare. With decades of combined experience in vertical big-way formations, they bring world-class expertise. Both have taken part in current head down and sequential world records, with Chris serving as a sector captain on a vertical world record. Jesse captained Team USA to gold in Indoor Dynamic Vertical Sequential 8-Way at the World Championships, and both were members of the gold-medal team. They also host the Barnstorm Sequential Event, where experienced flyers build complex dive flows that push vertical sequential flying forward. This camp focuses on essential skills, safety, awareness, and confidence to help participants step into larger formations and more advanced events. It is intended for intermediate to advanced vertical flyers who are new to big ways or looking to refresh and refine their approach. The curriculum includes the spine and ribs method, an understanding of big-way architecture, and what it takes to qualify for record attempts. Plan for a single day of jumping with a commitment to five skydives, weather permitting. Groups will be at least seven plus a coach for the camp to proceed. Sixty minute calls provide time to pack, review video, and brief the next plan. The day starts with a thirty minute seminar covering big-way fundamentals and safety. Participants may be asked to fly in the base at times, with rotations throughout the day. Now in its eleventh year, the Combat Cancer Walk brings the community together at The Shops at Dos Lagos in Corona to support local women affected by breast and gynecological cancers. P3 Fall Fling is the third around-40-way sequential gathering of the season, modeled after the Winter Fling and presented as a scaled down take on the Spring Fling.
