Experience the Peace Within: Sahaja Yoga Meditation

A free Sahaja Yoga meditation session takes place in Meeting Room 101 at Calavera Hills Community Center. The gathering begins with a guided practice to settle the mind into thoughtless awareness and a present-focused state. It continues with a brief introduction to Sahaja Meditation and time for questions, along with simple balancing techniques and guidance for developing a regular home practice. Chairs are provided, and wearing shoes that are easy to slip off is recommended. Sahaja Yoga Meditation is based on the experience of Self-realization through Kundalini awakening and encourages inner silence and joy while easing unhelpful thoughts, worries, and anxiety. Sahaja Yoga is a nonprofit organization founded in 1970 by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, practiced across the United States and in more than 100 countries, and it is always free.

Swami's Sunday - San Clemente

Set out from Lofty Coffee La Costa for a steady, conversation-paced ride to San Clemente by way of Camp Pendelton. The plan targets B and C levels, holding zone 2 on both climbs and flats with no surges or attacks. Riders can turn back wherever it makes sense, such as Las Pulgas or the campgrounds, or complete the full out-and-back to Surfin Donuts Cafe for a total of about 70 miles and roughly 2,535 feet of elevation gain. Bring a valid base pass if you prefer not to ride on the freeway.
