Dancestation, IEDNB, and Upgrade present a free, family-friendly picnic at Hunter Park honoring MC Werd’s birthday with a special focus on drum and bass. The day features a welcoming atmosphere, live media, and DJs from across Southern California. Music spans drum and bass, breaks, bass house, and liquid drum and bass, with sound and lighting by Murdok and RKS-5. MCs include Werd, Jtec, Apaulo8, Slim, JB MC, DCD, and Sirrom. The DJ lineup highlights special guest Thee-O of Rave Rewind and Insomniac Fridays, along with Desi of Drumz, Michaelove of Dancestation and Family Picnic, 2Much of IEDNB, Murdok and RKS-5 of Unknown Soljahs, Joel Martinez and Amanda J. of The Body Electric, and Music Assassin. Amenities include parking, restrooms, two playgrounds for kids, and basketball courts. Food and treats are available from Havee’s Tacos, with merchandise offerings from Moonlight Magics, A Pure Soul, Dark Fairies Boutique, and The Wild Moonchild Co. Backed by more than a decade of daytime dance gatherings in the Inland Empire, Dancestation emphasizes community, positivity, and connection through music and dance.

Support Mary S Roberts Pet Adoption Center by helping craft catnip mice that will be donated to the cats in their care. DragonMarsh is hosting this hands-on class again so people can lend a little time. Morigianna will bring fabric scraps, patterns, recipes and notions, and DragonMarsh will provide catnip, other kitty herbs for peaceful sleep, and the workspace. No sewing experience is required. Children and non-sewers can help by cutting patterns or stuffing mice. The suggested entry is a can or bag of pet food of any kind, and anyone who wants to help will be welcomed even without a donation. The aim is to make 200 mice and collect plenty of food for the center, which has been underfunded in Riverside this year due to the recession.
