You will scan the beach as the tide rises and look for migrating shorebirds and marine ducks, with a chance of surprises. The trail is narrow, dusty, and rocky in places, with limited places to sit, but there is a bathroom and water fountain at the trailhead. Bring plenty of water and sunscreen. This trip welcomes beginning birders and non-MDBA members with prior registration.
