Ecstatic Dance Trilogy

Set aside an evening for freeform movement, meaningful connection, and music-fueled transformation at Trilogy Sanctuary. The experience opens with a guided warm-up led by somatic leadership facilitator Alexander Schimmel, moves into a heart-forward Ecstatic Dance journey curated by DJ and pianist Alina Gordon, and settles into a soothing sound bath with musician and healer Malaya Rose before a closing community circle. Beyond the dance, unwind in a healing lounge offering holistic bodywork and energy support, and share conversation over cacao and tea in a space designed for nourishment. The dance floor is barefoot, substance free, and phone free. Conversations stay off the floor so participants can drop fully into the music. Self-expression is encouraged, paired with respect and clear consent. Many people prefer to dance solo, while others invite shared movement. If you wish to connect with someone in dance, begin gently by mirroring, offering a hand, or meeting eyes to sense a genuine yes. Wear clothing that lets you move with ease, and bring a refillable water bottle for the available station. Tickets are $25. All sales are final, with no refunds or ticket transfers. The host is Kirsten Incorvaia, an artist, dancer, and Certified Professional Co-Active Coach who crafts intentional movement gatherings centered on connection, aliveness, and freedom.

SoCal Jeep picnic Sat August 8th, Fiesta Island

A casual Jeep-focused beach picnic on Fiesta Island in Mission Bay continues a long-running SoCalXJ tradition that has been merged with NAXJA for years. The gathering takes place on the west shore near the shortcut from the east side, where there is plenty of flat, hardpacked sand for parking. Space will not be reserved in advance, so arriving earlier can help secure a spot since the area is popular. Attendees can bring their rigs or come in any vehicle. Plan to bring your own food and beverages, and feel free to bring something to share. Pack chairs, shade, hats, sunscreen, beach and water toys, bikes, and firewood if staying after dark. Well behaved dogs are welcome, as Fiesta Island is off leash, and there is a dog park just south of the typical hangout area. Small boats and personal watercraft can be launched from the sand with a capable 4x4. The perimeter road is also suitable for biking, walking, running, and skating, and there is ample room to spread out for anyone who prefers extra distance. The SeaWorld drone show is visible from the area later in the evening. Please follow SDPD beach rules, including no glass and no alcohol.
