Lavender Labyrinth Sound Bath Experience

Experience a restorative sound bath set within the lavender labyrinth at Bees N Blooms in Santa Rosa as the fields glow at sunset. The setting invites deep relaxation while the aroma of lavender surrounds you and layered tones ripple through the body like a soothing sound massage. The session features multiple gongs, crystal singing bowls, handpan, monochord, a variety of chimes, ocean and native drums, and ethereal vocals to support reflection, calm, and a sense of renewal. Plan to lie on the grass and bring what you need to stay warm and comfortable, including a yoga mat or camping pad, a blanket or sleeping bag, a pillow, an eye mask, and water. Summer evenings can be cool, so dressing in layers is recommended. Lavender eye masks are available at the Bees N Blooms farm stand for purchase at $25. Allow time to park, walk to the labyrinth through rows of blooming flowers, and get settled, and feel free to explore the grounds and visit the farm stand before the session begins. If rain or unhealthy air quality occurs, the gathering may be postponed to Wednesday of the same week and tickets will transfer to that date. In those force-of-nature situations, tickets are not refundable but are transferable, and updates are sent by email. Please note that there are active beehives on site and bees may be present on the lavender. Those with sting allergies should bring an EpiPen. Only disability trained service dogs are permitted due to the animals on the farm and the nature of the experience, and children under 10 are not allowed. The labyrinth offers a contemplative path that can ease stress, encourage meditation and insight, and help balance mind, body, and spirit. Many use it to let go of what no longer serves, to focus intentions, or to honor personal milestones, walking inward toward center and outward again with renewed clarity.

Recorded at Trash Treasury and Friendly Ghost with producer Cameron Spies, the project reached its final shape with the addition of vocalist Mira Stanley, who has since joined the band permanently. Drawing on the poetry of Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés, the record aims to offer a beacon in shadowy times through vivid imagery and a sound that is inquisitive yet grounded.

An Evening with Wolf Run

Wolf Run is the result of a chance connection at a Sonoma open mic between guitarist-vocalist Adam Traum and bassist Jack Hines that soon led to rainy-day jams in a Glen Ellen cabin. Their friendship took root through local shows and trips beyond their hometown, and they settled on a name drawn from a nearby neighborhood close to Jack London State Park. The band centers on original songs and moves easily among Americana, blues, folk, country, and rock while keeping a unified sound. Traum pens much of the material and often shapes it with Hines, who also contributes memorable tunes. Seeking a broader palette, they added drummer Kendrick Freeman, whose feel fuels everything from acoustic, songwriter-centered moments to funky grooves and full-throttle rock and roll. The performance includes one intermission. General admission is $15. Take $3 off each ticket by entering the promo code earlybird22 at checkout. Promo codes are not valid at the door, are not case sensitive, and must be entered as a single word. Listeners who enjoy John Prine, The Band, or Tyler Childers may be especially interested.

Grayson Jenkins

Kentucky native Grayson Jenkins brings a storyteller’s touch to country music, shaped by a childhood on a goat and horse farm in Muhlenberg County, the same place named in John Prine’s Paradise. His songs rise from real conversations, tough seasons, and the small moments many overlook, which has helped him build a devoted following and led to time on the road with Pony Bradshaw, Vincent Neil Emerson, and Nicholas Jamerson. After more than a decade in Lexington, where he studied agriculture and worked at the University of Kentucky, he took his songs far and wide, logging more than a quarter million miles across the U.S., the UK, and Canada while keeping Kentucky as home. In the spirit of fellow Kentuckians Sturgill Simpson and Keith Whitley, he has defined his own space through four independent albums, near constant touring, and festival appearances at Railbird Music Festival and Master Musicians Festival. His work has been highlighted by American Songwriter and The Bluegrass Situation. These songs are steeped in Kentucky tradition, travel, and a search for truth... stories that many listeners recognize as their own.

Influences include John Hiatt, Lucinda Williams, Rodney Crowell, Neil Finn, Patty Griffin, Chuck Prophet, and Ron Sexsmith, whose work helped guide his creative path. His connection to music took root in Northern California, where he sifted through stacks of discarded 45s his father, a trash collector, brought home, turning each record into a small discovery. Eager to grow, he set out for Texas with $500 in the bank and two suitcases, diving into Austin’s open mics and songwriter gatherings to refine his craft. CAFE' LITTLE DEER - Scott Laws Original Songwriter- Santa Rosa, CA

At Café Frida Gallery in Santa Rosa, Northern California native S.R. Laws brings a set of original songs that blend the comfort of familiar traditions with a fresh, personal voice. Inspired by master storytellers like John Hiatt, Lou Reed, Steve Earle, Neil Finn, and Ron Sexsmith, he crafts narratives that feel close to home while remaining unmistakably his own. His connection to music started young, digging through stacks of rescued 45s from his father’s trash route and discovering new sounds one record at a time. A later move to Texas opened doors in Austin’s renowned live music circles, where nights of open mics and songwriter sessions sharpened his approach before he returned to Sonoma County as a touring singer-songwriter with the original rock band The Heartsleeves. The performance centers on relaxed, mid-tempo Americana, an easy, resonant baritone, and vivid, first-person storytelling. A steady groove and slow-building intensity invite listeners to settle in for another tune, offering an evening of authentic songs shaped by a lifetime of listening, traveling, and learning from fellow artists.
