With a Heroes and Villains theme, this week-long Lake Tahoe camp from the Nevada-California Diabetes Association blends classic summer activities with daily diabetes education. Set by the lake with a private beach, campers form lasting friendships while learning practical skills for life with diabetes in a supportive environment. A 24-hour medical team, including doctors, nurses, registered dietitians, and experienced counselors, is on site to provide care and guidance throughout the session. The program welcomes children ages 7 to 14, with a Counselor-in-Training leadership option for ages 15 to 17.

Celebrate Father’s Day by the lake as Lindsay & the Cheeks bring funk, soul, and feel-good grooves to the Grand Lawn at Valhalla Tahoe for the season’s first free lawn concert. The afternoon blends live music with family fun, food, and a welcoming community vibe. Enjoy food trucks, a beer and wine garden, Valhalla merchandise, a tie-dye station, family-friendly activities, and lawn games before settling in for the performance. Valhalla Boathouse TheatreTahoe Mountain Bike Festival - Triple Crown & Paradise Loop rides
Two festival rides offer options for different experience levels, with an advanced route and an intermediate loop. Both are ticketed and require registration. Registration provides access to TAMBA rest stops along the way, a meal and drink ticket redeemable at the festival, and a rider t-shirt created with RISE Designs. The Tahoe Triple Crown covers 25 miles near Meyers, CA. This one-way, mountain-bike-only route is rated hard and connects 25 trails, climbing about 4,836 feet to a maximum elevation of 8,974 feet before descending roughly 4,998 feet. The TAMBA Paradise Loop spans 11 miles with about 1,000 feet of climbing. It begins and ends at the main festival area in Tahoe Paradise Park, allowing riders to head straight into the festival for food, drinks, and live music with no additional driving from a separate trailhead.
