TYF Summer Solstice Community Event

Celebrate the Summer Solstice with an evening devoted to movement, music, nature, and connection. Set among the pines at Black Bear Lodge, this intimate gathering highlights the unhurried beauty of Tahoe summers and offers a small preview of the OMNI Tahoe Yoga Festival. Settle in and connect with others in the peaceful surroundings before the program begins. The evening opens with a walking Sound Garden and labyrinth meditation led by Katelyn Morris. Participants move mindfully through a handcrafted pathway of sound and nature, guided by the vibrations of intentionally placed instruments to slow down, awaken the senses, ground energy, and set intentions for the season ahead. Next comes Solstice Flow with Jess accompanied by live music from DJ Josbeatz, a signature pairing that blends mindful movement with uplifting beats. This all levels practice is designed to awaken the body and elevate energy while celebrating the vitality of summer. Creative sequencing and a thoughtfully curated soundtrack support free movement, fuller breath, and a strong sense of community, welcoming both experienced practitioners and newcomers. As the pace softens, the group returns to stillness in a restorative sound bath with Katelyn. Layers of sound encourage deep rest, reflection, and integration, creating a gentle bridge from movement into calm and offering space for gratitude and intention as summer deepens. The experience concludes with a relaxed social on the lawn featuring wine, conversation, and charcuterie style snacks provided by partners at Black Bear Lodge. Connect beneath the trees, meet new people, and enjoy an easygoing close to a solstice evening. Attendees also receive exclusive access to special pricing and promotions for the upcoming OMNI Tahoe Yoga Festival.

Fleetmac Wood

Fleetmac Wood brings a late-night dance experience to The Hangar - Taproom & Bottle Shop that reimagines the music of Fleetwood Mac through a spectrum of electronic sounds. Rather than a tribute act, this is a DJ and AV-driven party where inventive remixes of beloved songs sit alongside rarities, all tuned for a twirling, chiffon-swirled dance floor and a single-minded journey. Since 2012, DJs Roxanne Roll and Alex Oxley have curated and created edits that showcase the band’s expansive catalogue, sharing this focused celebration at renowned clubs and festivals worldwide, from Glastonbury and Robot Heart at Burning Man to Printworks and Kantine am Berghain. Expect a night built around remixed classics and lesser known selections that keep the energy moving. If Fleetwood Mac is not your thing, this event may not be for you. Tickets are on sale.
