Striders Reservoir Run 2026 (11k & 1/2)

For more than four decades, the Stevens Creek Striders have explored and supported the Reservoir trails, and this event welcomes runners and walkers to experience them with Half Marathon, 11K, and a Lollipop loop charity run and children’s race. The routes travel from the cool, shaded singletrack of Tony Look to the expansive views of Coyote Ridge, offering a friendly entry point for road runners new to dirt while still delivering a challenge for seasoned trail and ultrarunners. The Half Marathon features several steep climbs, and aid stations are placed every few miles for support. The event is sanctioned by USATF, follows Trail Sisters race standards, and the Half Marathon is part of the USATF Mountain, Ultra, Trail Grand Prix, included among a select group of four races. Participation in the Half Marathon and 11K is limited to 150 runners in total, and finishers in those distances are eligible for finisher swag that includes custom race socks. Trail races like this thrive thanks to the backing of the trail running community and its volunteers.

Pooch Plunge

Celebrate canine fun at a Cupertino pool day made just for dogs. Pups can splash around during one of four swim sessions, and advance registration is required since space is limited. The fee per dog is $10 for residents and $13 for non-residents. For everyone’s safety and comfort, each handler may supervise up to two dogs, and people must remain out of the water. Do not force a reluctant dog to enter. Dogs that show aggressive behavior will be asked to leave and will not receive a refund. All dogs must be current on vaccinations. Lifeguards will be on duty, and owners accept responsibility for their dogs while they swim.
