Nurturing Fathers [Victorville]

At the Victorville office of CCRC, a 13-week series supports dads and father figures in cultivating warm, healthy relationships with their children. This research-backed course focuses on positive parenting, emotional insight, and accountable fatherhood to strengthen families and advance child well-being. Participants meet each week to connect with peers in the community and take part in guided discussions and reflection on the importance of fatherhood. A meal is provided during the weekly gatherings.

CCW Prep - Live Fire Course

Get ready for your CCW qualification with a live-fire training course. This session includes both classroom discussion and time out on the range, where you will shoot the B-27 target style used for the San Bernardino County Range Qualification. You’ll cover shooting fundamentals and the legal responsibilities that come with concealed carry. Plan for about 4 hours, and note that firearms and ammunition are not allowed in the classroom, so they must stay secured in your locked vehicle until an instructor directs you to retrieve them. Closed-toe shoes are required, and there are specific shirt restrictions. Bring up to 3 firearms you plan to put on your permit, 50 rounds of ammunition for each firearm, an extra magazine or speed-loader, and eye and ear protection, plus a pen or pencil and a notepad.
