Earth & Sound: Summer Slowdown

Summer Slowdown offers a calming pause from the season’s heat and busyness. This outdoor, 60-minute experience invites participants to breathe, reset, and settle their nervous systems through slow, mindful movement, grounding practices, soothing sound, and guided rest. The session begins with restorative yoga to release tension and arrive in the present, encouraging unhurried movement, steady breathing, and ease without effort. It then flows into sound healing with seven chakra crystal singing bowls, inviting participants to simply receive the vibrations and allow body and mind to decelerate. The closing portion features a guided relaxation with visualization to quiet mental chatter, support deep rest, and leave attendees feeling grounded, clear, and more connected to themselves. Participants are encouraged to bring a yoga mat, drinking water, a towel or blanket to place under the mat if the ground is damp, and something to cover the eyes during the final relaxation. An optional aromatherapy eye pillow is available on request for $30; it is washable, reusable, and can be kept for meditation, relaxation, or sleep support at home. Advance payment is required to reserve a spot. To pay via Venmo, Zelle, Apple Pay, or PayPal, text April at 559-836-9387 for payment details and confirmation.
