Service is handled in the order people arrive, and a sign-in sheet at The Headspace entrance asks for your name and phone number so you can receive a text when it is your turn. Contributions are pay what you can, with a suggested donation of $25. The Karma House is a community-centered social lounge where kava is also available, a traditional South Pacific root associated with relaxation and community connection, offered with education and respect. Arrive as you are and leave feeling a bit lighter.

A free improv workshop in the Karma House’s Headspace centers on storytelling instead of chasing laughs. Led by facilitators with roots in Colorado improv dating back to the 1990s, it blends playful scenes, clowning, and occasional game work while keeping narrative at the heart of the practice. Sessions may venture into avant garde techniques, highlighting improv’s capacity to free both performers and audience through shared stories. New attendees receive a complimentary drink.

The evening begins in the Headspace room, a cozy setting that lets singers rotate frequently, try out different songs, and step back up to the mic more than once.
