Two Moons Music HallMercury Retros 10th Anniversary! Spring 2026 Reboot!
Marking ten years of the Mercury Retros and the centennial of the Savoy Ballroom in Harlem, this season centers on creating a performance routine to Chick Webb’s Stompin’ at the Savoy. The choreography offers roles for both dancers new to team work and seasoned Lindy Hop veterans, with an emphasis on faster tempos, a couple of playful tricks, and building camaraderie. This is an open team with no audition and no partner required. Partners are welcome, and everyone will rotate during practice. Prerequisites include confidently executing a swing out at a medium tempo around 170 bpm, knowing basic 6-count and 8-count patterns, and being comfortable learning easy tricks and lifts. Level is Intermediate and up. This is a team format with no drop-ins for individual classes. The season spans four months and includes sixteen sessions, preparing for performances at the 1940’s Ball and at local venues. Instruction is led by Ceth and Sara. At MOVE studio, no street shoes are allowed and no food or drink other than water. Please bring a clean pair of dance shoes to change into, bring water, and wear clothing suitable for movement and stretching.
MOVE A Place with Space to ThriveThe Growlers
The Growlers take the stage at The Ogden Theatre with a sound that has evolved from reverb-soaked surf and outlaw country into danceable, synth-forward pop. Their six-album run moves from early releases Are You In Or Out?, Hot Tropics, and Hung at Heart, to the disco-leaning Chinese Fountain and the Julian Casablancas-produced City Club, culminating in Natural Affair, a self-produced record that channels their DIY spirit into bright, beat-driven grooves and lyrics that reflect on social currents and the thrills and risks of modern love. This event is for ages 16 and over.

The route is short, typically under a half mile in total and within ten minutes of the starting point, so people of all experience levels can take part. The aim is that participants leave informed and motivated, with a sense of community around foraging. StampedeProspective Member Informational Session
An informational session from Colorado 4x4 Rescue and Recovery welcomes people interested in vehicle supported search and rescue, vehicle recovery methods, and becoming familiar with more Colorado trails. Attendance is the required first step toward membership, and this session coincides with the opening of the onboarding process for the first 2026 cohort. These sessions are offered in March and June, and the organization typically welcomes two cohorts each year, one in April and one in July. Participation is available in person in Lakewood or online. Her work blends expressive vocals with thoughtful, contemporary songwriting, a personal vision she calls the modern songbook. As a recording artist she has released seven albums as a leader. How Love Begins, created with Christian McBride, won the GRAMMY for Best Jazz Vocal Album and features original material she wrote and arranged. Live at Vic’s Las Vegas, which she produced, wrote and arranged with guests including Tom Scott, Keyon Harrold, Rachel Eckroth, Idan Morim, Sam Weber and Dan Pugach, earned two GRAMMY nominations, and her next studio album The Devil I Knew, produced by Larry Klein, is on the way. On stage and in the studio she moves easily from intimate quartet settings to sweeping big band features. She previously fronted the Birdland Big Band before stepping out as a large ensemble leader, co produced the Dan Pugach Big Band, and appears with major big bands around the world. Highlights include headlining sets at leading festivals such as Newport, Melbourne, Caramoor, Saratoga and Tanglewood, plus engagements at New York institutions like Dizzy’s Club at Lincoln Center, Birdland, the Blue Note, the Carlyle, 54 Below and the late 55 Bar. She has also been featured with the Savannah Philharmonic, Asheville Symphony, Macon Pops and the Danish Radio Big Band, and her song Always closes Teyana Taylor’s GRAMMY nominated Escape Room. Her collaborations span Christian McBride, Tom Scott, Keyon Harrold, Veronica Swift, Benny Benack, Cyrille Aimee, Antonio Sanchez, Javon Jackson, Nikki Giovanni, Dave Stryker, Omar Hakim, Rachel Z, Helen Sung, Morgan James, Darren Criss, Livingston Taylor, Thana Alexa, Rachel Eckroth, Don Braden and Bernard Purdie.
