Reverent Rhythms is offering a seven week Adult/Community Hip Hop session that provides dance training without a long term weekly commitment, a format suited to busy or changing schedules. Hands-on sessions cover a range of projects and techniques, including a series of frame-ready 5 by 7 paintings, a wine and grapes still life, a lavender-inspired mini piece, watercolor batik, and artwork influenced by the dramatic landscapes of Colorado National Monument. The experience begins with a welcome meet and greet at Blue Pig Gallery, includes lunches at local favorites and a private chef dinner, and culminates with memorable dinners at restaurants such as Caroline’s and Bin 707. Registration includes four nights in a king room at the Wine Country Inn, all art instruction, professional supplies, meals with wine tastings, and a goody bag with a journal or sketchbook plus items from StencilGirl Products and other favorite tools. Travel and travel insurance are not included, and a retreat-only option is available for those arranging their own lodging. The agenda may be adjusted to suit weather or participant preferences. Dietary restrictions, allergies, and preferences can be shared with the organizers in advance. Only registered participants may attend, and pets are not permitted. After the retreat concludes, time is set aside for packing and shipping artwork if needed.

This Geeks Go Watch meetup at Picture Show at Grand Junction brings fans together to watch a 2026 fandom film. This edition centers on Resident Evil. RSVPs are collected through Geek Parties of the Grand Valley on Facebook or by email, then attendees send payment so the coordinator can purchase a block of seats for the group. If the deadline is missed, it is still possible to attend and try for a seat near everyone. The group meets in the lobby, costumes are welcome but not required, and a group photo is an option. The official start time is confirmed after showtimes and ticket availability are posted, and plans can change depending on the theater’s schedule. Participants cover NRA safety rules for handling pistols, how the firearm and its components function, ammunition basics, essential shooting skills, range procedures, and proper pistol cleaning. A team of NRA Certified Instructors, both male and female, leads the training. The fee is $175 per person. The course uses 150 rounds. Space is limited.
