The exhibit explores the canyon’s history and the disaster’s wide-reaching effects on residents through photography, maps, recovered objects, and oral histories. It also underscores how neighbors and local organizations worked together in the aftermath, encouraging remembrance and reflection on the lives lost and the community resilience that followed. A public opening reception accompanies the exhibition.

Mornings begin with arrival and lively warm-up games, followed by rotations through ninja skill stations paired with a themed craft. A snack and water break keeps campers energized, then an obstacle course challenge and group games lead into a period of open play before a short cool down to close the session. Full-day campers enjoy a supervised lunch break with time to relax and socialize. Please send a sack lunch. Afternoons include check-in for new arrivals and a light warm-up, another round of skill-building with a craft, and a snack and hydration pause. Team challenges and games follow, then time for free exploration to practice favorite skills. The day concludes with a calm cool down and organized pick-up. A 10% sibling discount is available. For safety, participants should wear snug tennis shoes, remove jewelry, and tie back long hair.

To prepare, apply sunscreen beforehand, wear closed-toed shoes, bring plenty of water, and bring gardening gloves if you have them. Extra gloves will be available. Please park along the gravel at the edge of the circle drive. Restrooms are not available at the site, and a toddler potty is on hand.
